A Plus B Equals C: A Poker Gambler’s Value is Judged by His Bottom Line
A handful of poker strategies will amaze you with their ease. This is one of them. Write down your results, every single time you wager.
Cathedral of Texas Holdem Psalm #3:
Thou must record your wins and thy loses; for it is the sum of all a mans accomplishments which generate their basis.
How detailed is up to you. I usually think that hourly specifics and that type of intimate information is wasted. Basically figure out how much ahead you are and how much (if any) you have withdrawn. Certainly, if you are beaten, record that too, no matter how much it hurts.
Do not overlook to note what type of game you are betting on, if that’s critical to you. (In my expertise, most gamblers hold to what they understand and do not experiment. If all you record is winnings, down and what you’ve taken out, you’re light years in front of almost all players out there!)
Provide yourself achievable goals, such as a ‘dream’ target (new auto, get-a-way or whatever). When you take out, mark the money withdrawn to your dream counter. The greater the success you have, the nearer that dream will be!
