Novice Schemes for Pai Gow Poker
Double-hand Poker is a current game with old origins. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the east with the west in an excellent game for starting players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler against the croupier, not like nearly all other poker games that players bet against other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, new players do not have to worry about any other, more knowledgeable people taking their $$$$.
One more Pai Gow benefit is the relatively slow game pace, novices will be able to take their time and plan without needing to make frenzied choices.
It is also easier to play for a long time with basically a tiny bit of money after all, to not win, both of your hands must be lower than each of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and one joker. The player is given 7 cards face up and the croupier gets 7 cards face down.
A 5 card hand and a two card hand must be put together from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand must be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the casino’s.
